Jägermeister is best served cold. Now a new packaging of the herbal liqueur is made of plastic instead of glass. The new design is based on that of a cold pack.
The spirits manufacturer Mast-Jägermeister has made the packaging of its herbal liqueur Jägermeister cooler: instead of glass, there is a PETG packaging that is suitable for outdoor activities. The design of the new Jägermeister is based on that of a cold pack, but in the typical green colour of the branded product. The new lightweight packaging will initially be available from beverage wholesalers, the company explains.
Sebastian Koenen, who played a key role in the development of the Coolpack as project manager in the area of innovation and design, explains on request: “Jägermeister tastes best ice-cold at -18 degrees Celsius, for which it has to be frozen. With the globally unique packaging design, we have developed a strong solution for outdoor enjoyment whose design language reminds the young target group of the recommended drinking temperature. At the same time, we deliver an iconic product with the Jägermeister Coolpack”. In general, the Coolpack has been developed for all shot lovers who like to be active outdoors. “The packaging is light, fits in a jacket pocket and is therefore suitable for taking ice-cold Jägermeister with you – sometimes even to places where glass bottles are not permitted.
