FACHPACK 2021 Wants to Break New Ground
Even if many things are currently uncertain: The date of FACHPACK 2021 is set. The European Trade Fair for Packaging, Technology and Processes will be held as planned in the Exhibition Centre Nuremberg from 28-30 September 2021.
The registration documents have been sent out, preparations are in full swing: after the break year 2020 due to the rotation of the exhibition, FACHPACK 2021 is starting with a clear profile and a new brand image with the slogan “We are making the future”. “FACHPACK is an important signpost for the packaging industry and its users in Europe. At FACHPACK impulses for new things are generated, trends are set and new paths are taken,” says Heike Slotta, Executive Director Exhibitions at NürnbergMesse. “Apart from their clear euro-regional focus, our exhibitors at FACHPACK appreciate above all the intensive working atmosphere, the high quality of the trade visitors and the good cost-benefit ratio of their participation in the exhibition.” Exhibitors and visitors will find space and time to exchange ideas and information and visitors will receive concrete answers to their packaging questions.
“We create the future”
The slogan of the fair is reflected among other things in the central theme “Environmentally friendly packaging”. With this, the trade fair wants to face the social challenges of the packaging industry and be a platform for bringing best practice solutions into the public discussion. On display will be recycled or recyclable packaging, resource-saving materials, reusable packaging and systems, and environmentally friendly processes. In addition, the supporting programme will again include numerous special shows, workshops and award ceremonies such as the “German Packaging Award”.
The PackPin in the focus of the new brand presentation
The leading colour of FACHPACK remains the popular and bright orange. The focus of the new advertising presence is the logo of FACHPACK, the PackPin, a kind of modern pin. In its shape, the PackPin indicates the location where something is currently being created, in the here and now, at FACHPACK, the “place to be”. Because this is where business people meet idea finders and future leaders. The PackPin also symbolizes the dialogue (reminiscent of a speech bubble) between people and different disciplines.
Trade fairs stimulate business
Even if it is not yet possible to predict how the economy will master the Corona crisis and when it will be overcome: Trade fairs can help to revive companies’ business, reactivate existing customer contacts and establish new business contacts. After all, FACHPACK is the industry meeting place of the European packaging market: on the three days of the exhibition, the event in Nürnberg provides a compact but nevertheless comprehensive insight into the range of products and services for the packaging process chain for industrial and consumer goods.
