The Swiss agency Kreativagentur mjm.cc AG, based in Mauren and Basle, created the design for the packaging of the Swiss Film Award, the “Quartz”, and received the Red Dot Award 2019 for this.
A substantial weight – packaged simply. The “Quartz” trophy is presented annually at the Swiss Film Awards. The design of the Quartz Case was created on behalf of the Federal Office of Culture (BAK) out of the need for a protective, handy, but still aesthetically pleasing packaging for the trophy. The material is simple, but the design and workmanship are sophisticated. The packaging consists of a single piece, comprising several layers of cardboard precisely matched to the trophy. It can be opened like a case into which the glass trophy fits snugly. Most of the “Quartz” remains visible even in its packed condition. The integrated handle makes it easy to carry and transport the trophy.
Especially to luxury products or works of art the benchmark for packaging is particularly high, as it has to protect the valuable content and also look as attractive as possible. At FachPack you will see innovative solutions from innovative exhibitors. More information can be found here.
