Henkel is trying out refill stations for its products in the Czech Republic. This is intended to help the consumer goods group to achieve its targets for reducing plastic. dm and Interspar also let customers refill detergents and cleaning agents themselves.
At dm, customers can already refill detergents and cleaning agents themselves in some stores in Austria. Budnikowsky also tested refill stations in some branches in Hamburg.
According to Lebensmittelzeitung, there are several Henkel products to choose from: Persil detergents, fabric softeners, dishwashing detergents, shampoos and shower gels of the Nature Box brand, and Fa hand soap. Customers can now fill these products into reusable containers. The bottles are also available in the respective markets. According to reports, the test project is currently scheduled for Czech Rossmann stores in Prague, Pardubice, Liberec, Brno and České Budějovice The company has not yet commented on whether there are similar plans for German stores.
