Return without packaging and label

With thousands of points of sale for millions of articles, Amazon simplifies the free return procedure – initially, however, only in the USA.

Amazon says it wants to make shopping online and returning items as easy as possible. That’s why they’re now offering customers a new, free and convenient way to return millions of items. So far, most customers already had at least one free return option, but they had to repackage the item, print a return label or photograph a return QR code, and then take the package to a designated logistics provider.

Amazon says, „We understand that finding a box and tape and printing a return label can still be a hassle.“ This is why Amazon is now making the process more customer-friendly: The customer now only has to request a QR code and return the unwanted items in the item packaging, but otherwise unpacked at various acceptance points.

The returns are accepted at the US Amazon Physical Stores „Amazon Books“, „Amazon 4-star“, „AmazonFresh Pickup“ and „Amazon Hub Locker“. Other alternatives include 1,150 cabbage locations in 48 states and 4,768 UPS stores nationwide. There, the delivered articles are then packed and dispatched by the employees of the receiving offices.
