Sustainable Packaging Solutions for Premium Consumer Goods

Innovative technology meets design: smart premium packaging from the cosmetics, beverage, and fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sectors will be the focus of Paris Packaging Week on June 29 and 30, 2022, at the Paris Expo Porte de Versailles exhibition center.  Henkel Adhesive Technologies will be exhibiting their comprehensive portfolio of surface treatments, coatings, and sealants for the metal packaging industry.

With more than 10,000 visitors from more than 80 countries and 650 exhibitors, Paris Packaging Week 2022 is the opportunity for brands to interact with packaging and material suppliers. In terms of the latest packaging innovations, the event will focus especially on the biggest challenges currently facing the target industries, such as sustainability and increasing competition in the premium segment.

As a leading global expert in surface treatments, coatings and sealants for metal packaging, Henkel Adhesive Technologies has been developing intelligent packaging solutions for food, beverage, personal care, and household products for many years. The focus of the various products is on safety, sustainability, and food compatibility. This is the case, for example, with aerosol cans in monobloc design: interior and exterior coatings give them outstanding printing quality and corrosion resistance, the company explains. In addition, these ensure a safe, hygienic, and haptically appealing use for the end consumer. The white exterior coating in the portfolio, for example, minimizes material loss by up to 30 percent. Instead of the usual two grams, only 1.5 grams of coating are needed to completely cover a monobloc aerosol can.
